About the game
Fez is a platforming puzzle game designed to make your head want to explode. In a good way. In the beginning you are in a 2D world, playing a character named Gomez. You are asked to visit the top of your village to talk to an old man with an Eye-patch (super cool!) You climb the village passing all kinds of people, all saying how cool 2D is and anything else is impossible. When you reach the top, the old man starts to talk about how something amazing is about to happen to you and this and that and something happens that you honestly have to see to believe. It's very trippy, and very cool. It sends you to the title screen, which looks alot like you breaking the game, and everything restarts, your in your room again, you wake up, but then when you walk outside everythings a little different. You know gain the ability to turn the camera, everywhere having four sides.
The main idea of this game is to collect all the pieces of an ancient "myth" if you will. There a light shapes which are basically platforming, just find all the rooms, and be able to get to the shapes, challenges. However, there are also darker shapes, which require puzzle solving to get. Some puzzles are easier, while some are harder. Much harder. Like you need to read a new language harder. It is truely an amazing test of the mind. Once you get 32/64 total shapes, you beat the game, and are sent to the title screen again and you are given a new option: New Game+! Which means you can "beat the game" at 32 shapes, and after that you are given the option to go back and get everything else! Hours upon hours of just amazing game play, puzzles, platforming, and head explosions!
The Good
The game has a great storyline, fun puzzles, and amazing controls on both keyboard AND controller. Truely an amazing addition to the gaming world, and developed really well. Its hard to tell you exactly everything about this game, it really is a see to believe game.
The Bad
The only bad thing about this game is that it IS a challenge. Some of these puzzles are a bit tough, a little to tough. It tooks some time and a little googling to do anything past beating the game. Maybe if you read "Alien Cube Language" it would be okay. Unfortunately, I don't, which made the game unplayable, but only after NG+.
The Score
All in all, I saw nothing wrong with this game. No crazy bugs, no gameplay issues, and everything is just beautiful and good to look at. I would give this game a 9.5/10 . For so cheap, and such a great game, your crazy not to get this game!

Rogue Legacy
My first game review goes to Rogue Legacy! I play this game on stream quite a bit, and it is really excellent! Alot of fun, easy to pick up, and very creative!
About the game
Rogue Legacy is, in my eyes, a Platforming, Strategy Action game. In each round you start off my picking a character out of three options with a unique set of abilities. Not all of these abilities are good, the range from Vertigo making your screen upside down, to IBS which doesn't affect the game at all except adding farting noises. There are also different character classes, such as assassin, or spellcaster. Some are unlocked, some are available right away, each has a custom ability, health, and mana set.
After picking a character you are taken to an upgrade screen where you can purchase upgrades with gold you have found from the castle. Then, you are placed in front of the castle. In front of the castle is death itself, also called Charon. He takes a certain amount of gold as a form of acceptance to the castle. At first, this price is all of your gold. You can later purchase upgrades to lower this price by 6% each upgrade. When you enter the castle you clear out the first room then the real fun begins. The castle changes with each character, unless you use an upgrade that allows you to lock it down each time. The castle features challenges for both fighting monsters and just getting across the room without falling on spikes (being the main idea to the platforming aspect) and also some rare prize rooms where if you complete a challenge you win a prize. There are four boss fights through out four different areas, ranging in difficulty from the castle, the forest, the maya, and finally the darkness. Once you beat the four bosses... Well I'll leave that to you to figure out!
The Good
Rogue Legacy is very creative in the way it was done. It has a good storyline, excellent challenges, an amazing array of upgrades, and most importantly in my eyes, it takes time and effort to complete, unlike some strategy games you can beat in a very short amount of time. The game has amazing controller compatibilty, with multiple special abilities, and you never get bored because you use a different character on each run. But the main good thing with this game is the actually game play. It just is really a whole lot of fun to play and its hard to put into text.
The Bad
Remember when i mentioned the controller compatibility? Well, it really is fantastic, but unfortunately the keyboard controls... not so much. Though the game still is playable its not as easy, and in my opinion not as fun. There are also some little things, like not turning unless you move, making turning around to hit something right behind you a bit impossible. The game also is really fun to play, but not so much to watch. I've noticed many of my live stream viewers, and myself when I watch the game, are mostly there for whoever is caster, not the game.
The Score
All around I would give Rogue Legacy a 8/10. The game play is great, it has alot of great differences then alot of games like it, alot of good features, with just a few kinks. The keyboard controls take some getting used to so it might not feel like 8/10 material but it really is once your used to it. A truely excellent game!
